      Lewis A. Rizek, son of Alois and Marie Anna Wiche Rizek, was born on October 13, 1902 at Munden and died September 19 at Lincoln, Neb., at the age of 75 years, 11 months, and 6 days. He attended school at Munden and graduated from Munden High School in 1922. He was united in marriage Augus 21, 1929 to Clara M. Novak, to this union 3 children were born. They lived on a farm near Munden until 1968, when they retired from farming and moved to Hebron. He was a member of the Catholic Church, serving on the St. George's Church committee at Munden and also the Sacred Heart Church committee at Hebron. Hew was a member of the Knights of Columbus, being a member of the 4th degree and having served 2 years as Grand Knight faith Belleville Council. For 9 years he was a member of the Munden School Board, he was Past President of the North Central Free Fair Board and a menter of the North Central Kansas Hereford Association. Preceding him in death was his wife, Clara in 1971,. His parents, 3 brothers, Joseph, Farank and Charles and 1 sister, Anna, and 2 grandsons, Kirk and Larry Blazek. He is survived by one son, Eugene of Hebron, 2 daughters, Mrs. James (Evelyn) Hurley of Republic, and Mrs. Gerald (Illene) Blazed of Munden, 12 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral Services were held Friday at the Sacred Heart Catholic church in Hebron. Msgr. William Rezabek officiating. Rosary services were at the Adams-Tibbetts Chapel in Hebron 8 p.m. Thursday, September 21. Burial was in the St. George cemetery at Munden.
