Frank Kolman, sr., 80, retired farmer, took his own life Wednesday, according to Dr. H. D. Thomas, coroner. The latter reported that Mr. Kolman had told several people that he was tired of living alone as he has been diubg since his wife's death, three years ago. Charles Kolman, a son, and two friends were looking for Mr. Kolman when they found his body in the garage at his home in Cuba. He is survived by one daughter and five sons. Funeral services were held Saturday at Cuba Comunity hall and burial was in the Kopsa cemetery.

Anna Havel, eldest daughter of Frank and Katerina Havel, was born southwest of Cuba, Kan., February 17, 1875, and passed away at the Belleville hospital January 30, 1931 at the age of 55 years 11 months and 13 days. She was married to Frank Kolman in 1892 and to this union 6 children were born all are living on farms of their own in the vicinity of Cuba. Those left to mourn her loss are her husband, Frank Kolman; her mother, Katrina Havel; a daughter Bessie Havel her sons, Charles, Edd, Frank, jr., Steve, and Milek Kolman; 12 grand children; a brother Charles W. Havel, and sisters, Emma Houdek, Tillie Chruma and Albinia Havel. She was a faithful wife, a loving mother, always putting her family first, and will be greatly missed by all. A very large corowd paid their las tribute of respect to one loved by all who knew her. The funeral services were conducted at the home in Cuba on Sunday February 1 by Mr. Charles Chruma, and burial was made at the National cemetery. Her five sons and son-in-law acted as pallbearers.
