Frank Kusy was born in Cuba, June 23, 1902 to Frank and Katherine Strumfa Kusy and died August 8, 1972 in the Clay County hospital, Clay Center after an extended illness at the age of 70 years, 1 mo., 16 days. His youth was spent in the Cuba area. He was employed by the Rook Island Railroad for forty years retiring in 1967. He was united in marriage to Alice Hannan on March 21,1930. She preceded him in death on April 4, 1948. To this union was born one son, Duane who resides in Clifton. On Sept. 14,1956 he was united in marriage to Delia Young, who survives. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Joe, and two grandchildren, Rick and Rhonda. He is survived by his wife, son, Duane, one stepson, Eugene Young, Brooklyn, N.Y., four sisters, Mrs. Louis Herink (Frances), Council Grove, Mrs. Adolph Lahodny (Rose ), Shawnee Mission, Mrs. Everett Gray (Olive), St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Leonel Wang (Bertha) Bridgeport, Tex., one brother, Thomas Woodhouse, Manhattan. Funeral services were held in Turner's Chapel, Clifton, Friday,. August 11 with Rev. Rollin Dillinger officiating. Burial was in the Miltonvale cemetery.
